Dr. Rodger Brown is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon located in the West Houston/Katy area. He was born and raised in the Houston area. He attended college at Baylor University where he earned his B.S. degree in biology and graduated cum laude. He then moved back to Houston and went to medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center. He obtained his M.D. with honors. During his medical school training, he fell in love with plastic surgery, a specialty requiring creative problem solving and technical skill which can make a direct and immediate impact on patients’ lives.
Intensive TrainingDr. Brown successfully matched into one of the top plastic surgery training programs, the Baylor College of Medicine integrated plastic surgery residency. He spent the next six years training to become a highly skilled plastic surgeon across all disciplines. During this time, he worked with many national leaders in the field at several well-known institutions, including: The Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas Children’s Hospital, and Ben Taub General Hospital.
